Yawn Marketing joins the Jarrold Group

In an exciting business development, we’re thrilled to share the news that Yawn Marketing has been acquired by the Jarrold Group!

With this strategic partnership, we will continue to deliver innovative marketing solutions for businesses across the UK, while gaining access to the resources and expertise of the Jarrold Group in retail, eCommerce, training and distribution. This collaboration will enable Yawn Marketing to enhance its services and provide even greater value to its clients and partners.

The acquisition comes at an exciting time for the Jarrold Group, as the 250-year-old group broadens its offering and reinforces its position as a cornerstone Norfolk brand. By bringing Yawn Marketing into the fold, the Jarrold Group aims to enhance its marketing capabilities and further enrich its suite of business services.

Sam Edwards founded Yawn Marketing in 2019 and will continue as the agency’s Managing Director. He said:

“This is a real thrill for all of us at Yawn Marketing, and it’s a credit to the outstanding work of our amazing team. The Jarrold Group have been excited by the agency’s trajectory and its output, and I’ve been particularly inspired by the opportunity to partner with an organisation that I’ve admired for a very long time.

Jarrolds is one of the finest businesses in our region and the brand was at the very top of my ‘dream client’ list when I set up the agency. I can’t wait to see what we achieve by joining forces – expect to hear plenty more from us in 2024!”

Tom Burdett, Jarrold’s Director of Finance and Strategic Operations, said:

“We may be best known for our wonderful stores, but our operations extend to property, facilities management, training and logistics services. As a group, we have never stopped evolving, and the acquisition of Yawn Marketing is a clear continuation of that.

Across our businesses our mission is to provide an ‘unrivalled experience’ in everything we do. Yawn’s reputation for excellent client service and innovation makes it a great fit, and one which aligns perfectly to the wider activities of the Group as we look to extend our B2B offering alongside Retail.”

The values and vision we have at Yawn align perfectly with those of the Jarrold Group and we can’t wait to get started!

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your continued support. Our commitment to providing excellent client service and delivery is as strong as ever, and we are excited about the future as we step into this new chapter.

Thank you once again for your support, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss how this acquisition may benefit your business.
