Sonkai Jewellers create hand-crafted luxury jewellery in the heart of Norwich’s Royal Arcade. As an independent, local business, Sonkai pride themselves on their open plan workshop, whereby people can observe the skilled team collaborating on bespoke handcrafted jewellery.
Our journey with Sonkai involved delving into the jewellery craft to understand more about their offering, allowing us to produce innovative content. With the help of Sonkai, we were able to witness their craftsmanship first hand watching the goldsmith in the workshop. We were then able to work with Sonkai to create elegant content by photographing their jewellery to show the high quality of their products.
We set out to create a lighter, sleeker vehicle to serve the purpose of being the digital gateway to the brand, as well as making the eCommerce functionality more user-friendly. Stunning imagery was a priority as we designed the new website, and the product page design allowed information to be stored more methodically, making the customer journey easier.
Through a strategic mix of paid and organic marketing, we’ve elevated their brand to show the bespoke value of each piece. Their website creates a sleek and subtle canvas to display the jewellery and our content strategy feeds into this.
We continue to work alongside Sonkai, providing and executing a full content strategy, because we believe that constant communication and working closely with our clients is essential to good marketing.
Earlier this year, the team at Yawn refreshed and recharged our social media look to better suit our branding and audience. Subsequently, we've seen a uptake in engagement online and have received a great deal of positive feedback in-store. Of course we love the new style and feel confident that Yawn, once again, have proved invaluable to correctly understanding and supporting our brand.
