Creator Studio For Social Media Management
Yawn Marketing – No Boring Answers
As one of Facebook’s internal ‘tools’, it’s likely you’ve come across Creator Studio before. Today, we’re going to explain what Creator Studio is and how it can help you with social media management.
What Is It?
Creator Studio is Facebook’s native answer to scheduling. Via the platform, you can schedule or directly post content to any account that is linked with your Facebook profile – including Instagram accounts.
How Can It Help With Social Management?
One of the main benefits of using Creator Studio is the ease with which you can ‘crosspost’ content that you have scheduled for one platform over to another, i.e. from Facebook to Instagram.
Additionally, insights for your Facebook business page are far more accessible with Creator Studio. Whereas, previously, you could find all of your analytics within a tab on your page, you now have to use Creator Studio in order to see the in-depth data. Facebook is often changing features and moving information, so if you wondered where all of that juicy data had disappeared to, now you know!
Once posts have been published, you can view their individual insights. From here, you can invite users who have interacted with your content to like your page (if they haven’t already), as well as engaging with comments as a page-representative.
However, it must be said that for a native platform, there are a fair amount of issues and limitations to the functionality of Creator Studio. One of the biggest frustrations that we have found is how you can tag products from your store when scheduling posts on Facebook, but you cannot tag items in advance for Instagram posts. Baffling!
Creator Studio is a capable scheduling tool that offers in-depth insights into your Facebook page and engagement. Whilst it may have some faults, there are definitely benefits to using Facebook’s native platform, if not only because it’s free!
